Mommy/Daughter Date

Tenley and I before our special day!

My Ten-little has hit the terrible 2s hard core it seems like... she can be happy one minute and then go into full tantrum mode the next. I have noticed the past few weeks that she gets super jealous if I am doing something with Addy... she will come over and try to pull on me or she will pull on Addy :(.
Our church has a moms day out program that the girls go to during the summer so I decided Tenley and I needed some alone time together... completely focused on her! Mommy guilt sets in a lot of the time because Addy takes up so much of my attention so it was nice to get to spoil Tenley for a day! She loved it!

Our first stop was QT to get a yummy sugar filled slushy!

Then to Target to pick out a special toy!
Luckily she pick one that was only $2.00... Score!

 After Target we went to the library to play with puzzles, read books, and get some new books to read for the summer reading program! We are halfway to making it to our goal! YAY! (sorry no pictures)

Then we headed to the zoo!

Tenley loved watching the monkey's 

She decided she need to push her backpack in the stroller... Big girl!

Before we left the zoo Tenley spotted this green guy...
she is really into monkeys right now so when she said "oh wow... monkey!"
I couldn't help but getting it for her!  

And this is where monkey rode the whole time haha

After the zoo we went to pick daddy up and take him to lunch!

Tenley you are a complete blessing from God... I know we struggle sometimes but I am so glad I am your mommy and I can't wait to see what God has in plan for your life!
