Unplugged

So... The Ford Fam is going unplugged for awhile... yep that's right technology free! Within reason of course. I think a lot of our time is wasted by these things and our evenings are no longer as meaningful...so....

Things that are not aloud:

1-No TV....we watch way to much TV... Ben and I have gotten into a unhealthy routine of watching TV for a couple hours after the girls go to bed and I seem to play cartoons all day as Tenley plays... even though she doesn't pay much attention to them I think we need to do without for awhile... 

2-No Computer....this is mainly for me... I get to reading blogs or get on Pinterest and a couple hours goes by in no time...Ben of course has to use his computer for work... but that is all he is to use it for... no playing on the IPad in the evenings!

3-No Facebook...again for me... Ben has to update Middle School and MSLeader Facebook page and such...I have an addiction to it and he uses Facebook mainly for work

Things that are aloud:

1-Phone....we can text, make calls, and Ben can check emails....I text friends and the only people I talk to on the phone is Ben and my parents so I figured that's not a bad thing

2-Music... Honestly I can not stand to be in the house all day when its quiet and if we can't have TV I see a few dance parties for Tenley and I this week!

3-Ben obviously can't give up technology that is needed for work so anything work related is aloud :)

Well that's it folks... How long do you think we can make it???  I'm bummed I didn't get blog updates from our trip to Texhoma but maybe after our techno fast I can go on a blogging spree hehe...
